BLUE VOYAGE
|
|
Set sail out of Bodrum's picturesque Marina and get away from the bustle of every day life Day 1 Welcome on board in Bodrum. You can relax from the flight, meet your fellow shipmates, settle in and make yourself feel at home, or stroll through the streets Bodrum. Day 2: Bodrum - Black Island - Orak Island - Kisrebükü Time to get your sea legs as we set sail for Black Island. You'll be amazed by the spectacular coastline. Black Island is famous for its hot springs, claimed to cure everything from rhumatism to nerves, and its dark caves which you can swim into, however the water can be a little chilly! Then on to Orak Island. This island, which is small and uninhabited, is very green and has a lovely sandy beach. Here we drop anchor for lunch. You will have time for some serious sunbathing, superb swimming and snorkelling in these crystal clear waters. We will then cruise on to Kisrebükü, a quiet uninhabited bay, to anchor for the night. Day 3: Kisrebükü - Seven Islands Across the Gulf today to the popular pine clad secluded bays and coves of The Seven Islands. This place gets its name from the group of islands and rocks just off the coast. The surroundings are more rugged and wilder than further East. Your captain will find a suitable and safe spot to anchor for the night. Day 4: Seven Islands - Cleopatra's Island - Karacasögüt - Marmaris The morning will be spent following the amazing coastline before lunch at Cleopatra's Island, as rich in myths as in beauty, with legendary white sand shipped from North Africa by Cleopatra for her lover Mark Anthony to lie on, so the legends say! In the afternoon you will stop at Karacasögüt which has a couple of restaurants, markets and a few holiday homes. After an early evening meal you have the optional trip to visit Marmaris for a chance to explore the covered bazaar and walk around this cosmopolitan resort. Day 5: Karacasögüt - English Harbour Discover the marvellous scenery, forest trails and clear water of English Harbour. This place is famed for sheltering British torpedo boats during World War I. Day 6: Cökertme You will cross the Gulf to Cökertme. This is a small coastal village where traditional Turkish carpets are woven by the women of the village. Day 7: Yaliciftlik - Etrim - Bodrum This is your last full day, so make the most of it! You will be taken by minbus from Yaliciftlik to visit a village called Etrim where you will be invited for lunch and to absorb real village life. In the village you will see traditional Turkish carpets being made and have the chance to buy any you like at very good village prices. The captain will then find a suitable anchorage outside Bodrum for the night. Day 8: Bodrum This is your last opportunity for an early morning swim and to look at the beautiful coastline. You'll arrive back in Bodrum after breakfast at sea. It is time to tie-up in Bodrum, say farewell and transfer to your hotel. Itineraries: As with everything on a gulet cruise, your itinerary is extended to be fairly flexible. While a general route is planned by the captain who knows all the hidden secrets of the coastline, he is always happy, where possible, to accomodate the wishes of the passengers. Due to unforeseen circumstances your itinerary may have to be changed at short notice. [ Cabin Charter ] [ Rates ] [ Contact Us ] |
